Robert J. Seco serves as Senior Counsel with MarketCounsel
and is also is an Associate with the
Hamburger Law Firm,
an affiliated boutique law firm providing the securities industry with
unparalleled legal counsel. His work at the Hamburger Law Firm is concentrated in the areas of
the regulation and compliance of investment advisers and broker-dealers, private
investment fund formation and general corporate work. Previously, Mr. Seco
worked as an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft, LLP. He is admitted
to the bars of New Jersey and New York.
Mr. Seco earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Seton Hall University, graduating with honors. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. While in law school, Rob participated in the 15th Annual Duberstein Moot Court Competition and received the Outstanding Brief Award. He also served as an intern at MarketCounsel and as a judicial extern to The Honorable Patrick F.X. Fitzpatrick, J.S.C in the New Jersey Superior Court. |
